As of today, our union has been passed sixty seven years since its inception. For the sake of it, we thus would like to mark our historical line up. Our first union was registered comprising withthe designation of the then Surveyors, Map Technological Officers and Clerical along with the fellowship or brother, Chanculen Berg, the presidency and the brother W.I. Dissanayake, the Secretary in the year 1945.
The post of Treasurer was bearded by our brothers, P. Kumaraswami. It has been reported that this step was taken as a result of neglecting our ancestors by the leadership of the department who served to the country by way of Drawing Maps and engaged with Administrative affairs since the year 1820.
